NOT ENTIRELY... :)

I have a newfound respect for mothers of twins or two or three babies for that matter all at once!

You are blessed and God has a wonderful purpose for each you and each one of your little cherubs...

After all the chatter about working at home, how stressful staying at home can be and caring for our little ones, I had an epiphany (well, I might call it that) Joshua needed some social interaction and so did I, so, I chose to open our home to the community for a special purpose, childcare - which is a full time ministry all by itself!

Can you believe I actually decided to take on an in-home childcare? No, I have not lost it folks, though I believe God has given me a new attitude about things lately and so I'm learning to thrive as I survive in raising my own children and now as a part time childcare provider for families in need.

Yes, and so it begins... I made the site and posted an ad in my community and here I am thinking "this should take a while to get inquiries" anyway, I have plenty of time to prepare for this and the like and wouldn't you believe the Lord sent me an adorable baby boy named, Eden to care for just one day after I posted it! Joshua and Eden are only a couple weeks apart, both April babies - What a blessing!

Please pray for me as I take on this new endeavor and blessing to fulfill God's purposes to help raise his little divine appointments :) I do have "one more" opening for either an infant or toddler (preferably)

It's another day in the life as a mother and wife

tired and much a do round house

regarding those times in my life

Will today be the day that I get taken away?

without warning, without fear,

without holding close those so dear...

May I never take You for granted Lord,

or forget even for a second who You Are!

even when You seem too quiet and so very far

May I always trust that You've got everything

in control out there

and find that blessings abound everywhere

in the midst of the chaos - You Are, Peace

in the midst of terror - You Are, Justice

You told me I have a divine purpose to fulfill

so, may my life be a reflection of Your will

One of the am Christian radio stations I listen to (560am) has been announcing this new groundbreaking documentary in regards to Radical Islam and will show a live 90 min. webcast on Friday September 11, 2009 at 7pm EST and 10pm - or you may purchase a DVD from the site if you miss it - for those interested in learning more on the subject of US terrorist threats. FYI: Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia is a participating church viewing the film too. Obviously, as Christians we "should" be quite concerned and willing to stand up for our faith in Christ at any moment, particularly concerning any threats to our nation and its people regardless of others faith beliefs -- simply as human beings created in God's image, however, this documentary takes a closer, alarming look into the Islamic and Muslim beliefs with special attention to the "radicals" out there and its real dangers toward Christ followers among many others. I would suggest looking into it asap as I have. The Lord of heaven is on His throne -- and the realities from the book of Revelation and its Holy Prophecies are very real and we should be on the lookout constantly for our faithful hero, Jesus Christ coming for His church, just as well as watching our backs on this earth here and now - are we ready?

Back To School...

Spencer and Charles headed back to school on September 8th -
Upper Merion School District.
They were surprisingly excited about going back... not sure if I should be sad or what... but I'll miss my boys during the day! They are growing way to fast for me.
We all had such a great, busy summer! Time flies when you're having fun!

Charles is starting the middle school officially and very excited about it! Spencer is in the second grade now and can't wait to meet new friends this year! They no longer ride the bus together because they are in different schools now, boo hoo! Luckily, there are alot of neighborhood kids to hang out with.

Good Day! Hail Thee Lords & Ladies!

We spent the last of our summer vacation over the Labor Day holiday at the Pa Renaissance Faire "The Children's Fantasy Weekend Special" - for 3 days and 2 nights! We stayed at the Days Inn for our first days stay and the Hampton Inn during our last night. This was most enjoyable folks and one of the coolest places to visit! We were so entertained the entire time with the most beautiful gardens surrounding the village, improvising with the actors (with neat accents too) throughout the town - stage shows - the boys were "knighted" by the Queen herself - human chess game - cake with the Queen - elephant ride - ultimate joust - it literally seemed as though we were a part of a fantasy/gladiator/pirate movie ~ quite exciting to say the very least and of course the boys absolutely LOVED it!

(Parental Note: "some" people take this renaissance thing a bit too far in their "costumes" - just small word of caution - there were some distractions along the way - but if you understand the (era) you are entering then you'll understand)

Though, I would highly recommend planning a visit as a couple or with family and friends, its well worth it if you enjoy this sort of thing!
